SightConnection client Aaron Scheidies is in Rio for the 2016 Paralympic Games! He competes this week in para-cycling. In his own words,
“From #1 in the world in triathlon, to finding a new sport in para-cycling, to rising to #6 in the world in para-cycling, to now proudly stating – I’m going to the Rio 2016 Paralympics.”
Aaron has never let his Stargardt’s disease stop him from doing anything he wanted to achieve. Aaron’s vision is now 10% of a full-sighted person.
“In Rio, it will be my pilot Ben Collins and myself racing against one of the toughest fields ever put together in the Men’s Tandem class. We are going for Gold and this is OUR ROAD!”
